POLICE are warning people to remain vigilant after two reports overnight of tools being stolen from vans in two villages.
Oswestry's Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) tweeted on Tuesday (February 7) morning that break-ins into vehicles in St Martins and in Gobowen had been reported.
West Mercia Police officers have now taken to social media to urge people to report any incidents or suspicious activity.
They tweeted: "Overnight there have been two incidents of vehicles being broken into and tools stolen.

"The locations are Cherry Tree Drive, St Martins and Fernhill Lane, Gobowen.
"We're requesting that residents remain vigilant and report suspicious behaviour/activity on 101."
Anyone wishing to report a crime can do so via 101 or if it is urgent, then ring 999.
