FRIENDS and family of a 24-year-old man who died in a car crash, have shared emotional tributes to him at a car meet-up memorial.
Callum Powell, from Ruyton XI Towns, died in a collision on the A5 near Nesscliffe in Shropshire on Monday, January 23.
His friends and family described Callum, nicknamed Spanner, as genuine, a good friend and 'a character' who had a great passion for cars.
Lewys Rees said: "Cal was one of the most genuine people I’ve ever met, always up for a laugh, and always there for anybody absolutely who needed him, our little group will never feel the same without his laugh around us."

Sophie Rickman, a friend of Callum's, has set up a GoFundMe page for the family to support them with funeral costs and anything they might need.
Alongside her, Toni Lache and Brent Bailey started the 10pmclub for car enthusiasts a couple years ago.
And they used the club as a platform for a fundraiser meet to raise money for Callum's family and to also bring tribute to him.
Over 500 cars turned up and they raised £1,890.04 for his family to spend on whatever they wish.
Sophie said: "It ran very smoothly and so many people attended.
"Some who didn’t even know him, his family all attended."
After the car meet the team at the 10pmclub shared on Facebook: "We would like to thank everybody who donated, everybody who stuck to the rules and kept quiet and behaved respectfully, and most of all would like to thank every single person who helped out.
"This was all for you Cal, we hope you’re watching down and swearing at us for giving you so much attention."
Matthew Bufton said: "Callum was the peace in any storm in the midst of chaos he could cause the sunshine to break through.”
His friends said they were in disbelief at what had happened, and that they will miss him dearly.
Fran Ashley added: "Cal was the most kindhearted, caring and generous soul.
"He was always so proud of everyone else’s achievements before his own. "The love, the dedication and the commitment Cal always displayed to his friends, it will always be an honour to remember him as one of my best friends.
"He will forever hold a special place within my heart."
