FIRE crews rescued a 32-year-old horse trapped in its stable on an Ellesmere farm on Saturday (January 21).
Firefighters from Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to the incident in Bridge Farm, Ellesmere, at 11.51am.
Two fire appliances including the rescue tender were then mobilised from Ellesmere and Wellington.

A spokesperson from SFRS said: "This incident involved a 32-year-old horse which had become trapped in stable.
"Alongside the fire crews, an Operations officer was also in attendance."
The stop call, confirming no further assistance was needed, was received by the control centre at 12.44pm.
