ERIC Ramsay has been linked to the managerial vacancy at English Championship side Blackpool.
The former Llanfyllin High School student is the current set piece coach at Premier League side Manchester United having carved a reputation as one of the best emerging coaches in the country during spells at Shrewsbury Town, Swansea City and Chelsea.
The 30 year old was hired under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and retained by Erik ten Hag following the Norwegian's sacking and since been elevated to first team coach alongside Steve McClaren and Mitchell van der Gaag.
Last year he was linked to the vacant managerial job at Barnsley to remain at Old Trafford.
Championship side Blackpool are looking for a new manager after sacking Michael Appleton, but have already seen their reported approach to the United coach rebuffed.
Manager Erik ten Hag reportedly made clear he wants Ramsay to stay, regarding him as an important member of his backroom team.
