A SINGLE car collision in a village near Ellesmere, this morning (January 19) led to a call out for firefighters.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service received a call reporting that a road traffic collision had taken place on the A528 near Cockshutt, Ellesmere.
A fire appliance was mobilised from Ellesmere, at 6.54am, and the crews used a small gear equipment to deal with the incident.

A spokesperson from SFRS said: "The incident involved one vehicle.
"Fire service personnel have righted vehicle and moved from carriageway."
A stop call confirming no further assistance was needed was sent to control at 7.18am.
