A MAN was rescued from a vehicle stranded in floodwater near Oswestry last night (Tuesday, January 17).
Firefighters from Baschurch, Oswestry, Shrewsbury and Tweedale, including the water rescue unit, were called to Melverley Green at around 7.16pm.
An operations officer was also in attendance at the scene.
A stop call confirming no further assistance was needed was sent to control an hour later at 8.24pm.
