A DUDLESTON Heath man must be on his best behaviour for the next year and a half after admitting a disorder offence against a police officer.
Kenneth Philip Howell-Walker pleaded guilty to causing a police officer harassment, alarm or distress by using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour in Ellesmere on April 13, this year.
The 36-year-old, of Hill Park, admitted the offence at Telford Magistrates' Court on Friday, December 9.
Magistrates gave him an 18-month conditional discharge for the office, meaning he will receive no further penalty so long as he does not commit another offence during the next 18 months.
Howell-Walker was also told he must pay £135 court costs and £22 to the victim surcharges fund.
A second charge of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour to the same police officer with the intent to cause fear of or to provoke unlawful violence was dismissed.
