A VILLAGE amateur dramatics theatrical society has donated £600 from a sell-out pantomime to charity.
Goldilocks and The Three Bears roared into town on Wednesday November 30, and saw the first of five sell out shows performed by Ruyton Amateur Theatrical Society (RATS).
Over 600 people bought tickets to see the pantomime which ran until Saturday evening, December 3.
RATS described how the audience on their first night were amazing, with cheering, booing and getting so fully into the swing of things they could hardly hear themselves speak at times.

Claire Trickett, from RATS said: "We thought that our ticket sales were great last year for Snow White, but this year we’d surpassed that number within a short time of them being released.
"It’s fantastic that the community see the show and that local businesses support us with raffle prizes and valuable sponsorship funds."
This year the revenue from the raffle was donated to the Lingen Davies Cancer Fund, a charity that supports people who are going through cancer, or those watching loved ones go through it.
They raised £600 and Claire thanked the community for being so involved.
