POLICE and ambulance staff were called out to a two-car crash in Oswestry on Thursday night, which led to casualties being taken to hospital.
West Mercia Police officers were called out at around 10.45pm, on Thursday, December 1, to reports of a two-car collision in Morda Road, close to Oswestry Cricket Club and Wilmot road, according to eye-witnesses.
Crews at the scene found the occupants of one car, a man and a woman, who were assessed on scene by West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS).
A spokesman from the WMAS said the casualties were taken to hospital as a precaution.

He said: "We were called at around 10.50pm to reports of a road traffic collision on Morda Road, Oswestry.
"Crews arrived to find the occupants of one car, a man and a woman, who were assessed on scene before being taken to Royal Shrewsbury Hospital as a precaution."
West Mercia Police have confirmed that the area was made safe and both cars were recovered.
