THE FUTURE of a village nursery has been saved as a new leader will take charge of the team and the date for re-opening has now been confirmed.
Gobowen All Rounders have had a tough 50th year anniversary, after, in April 2022, they were told they must leave the current premises adjacent to the village's primary school, in School Lane, by the end of August.
Fortunately, in September, they found a new home at All Saints Church Hall, in Chirk Road, but then they had to close after October half-term after not being able to find a new leader for their group.
Now, Ali Myers, old leader of the All Rounders, is pleased to announce that Maria Hood will be taking her place, when they are re-opening on Wednesday, January 4, 2023.
She said: "Maria will be leading the team and welcoming families back into the setting, at All Saints Church Hall in Gobowen.
"Staff are very excited to welcome children back to our very successful space as we continue to celebrate our 50th year in operation."
There are childcare spaces available for pupils ages two to five years old.
Gobowen All Rounders accept 24U funding, 30 hours funding and tax-free childcare.
