CHIRK AAA’s long wait for a JD Cymru North win continued after a goalless stalemate at home to derby rivals Cefn Druids on Saturday.

The hosts went into the game as underdogs against the visitors who were relegated from the JD Cymru Premier last season and among the pre-season title favourites.

However shared honours at Holyhead Road extended the Colliers’ wait for three points having now not won a league game since September 30.
