A WOMAN has lost her licence after being caught drink-driving in Wrexham.
Georgina Hughes, who lives off Rad Road in Hengoed, Oswestry, appeared at Wrexham Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
The 22-year-old admitted that on November 5, she drove a Citroen motor vehicle on Wrexham Road in Rhostyllen after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of it in her breath exceeded the prescribed limit.
She was found to have 64 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath - the limit being 35.

Suzanne Cartwright, prosecuting, told the court that at around 12.25am on the day of the offence, police were alerted by CCTV operators that the driver of a red Citroen appeared to have consumed alcohol.
Officers attended and saw it "swerving slightly" at Felin Puleston.
It was stopped and the driver, Hughes was breath tested - which led to her eventual charge.
David Matthews, defending, told the court the stop-check had been "routine" and there had been no aggravating features in his client's case.
She cooperated fully with officers, he added.
District Judge Gwyn Jones fined Hughes £160 and ordered her to pay £85 in costs, as well as a £64 victim surcharge.
The defendant was banned from driving for 18 months.
