A MAN charged with theft and assault offences in Oswestry has had a warrant issued for his arrest after he failed to show up to court on Tuesday.
Justin Owens, of no fixed abode, is accused of stealing two perfume gift sets, to the value of £170, from Boots in Church Street, Oswestry, as well as two further gift sets from the same store on October 21 and October 23 this year.

He is also accused of assault a woman on October 21 and was bailed from Oswestry Police Station on October 21.
Owens was set to appear at Telford Magistrates Court on Tuesday, November 22 but failed to show and Magistrates issued a warrant for his arrest.
He will now be arrested on sight by police.
