A ST Martins man has been banned from driving for six months after he was caught speeding.
Andrew James Williams was captured by an automatic camera while driving a Volkswagen on the A449 at Crossway Green in Worcestershire, on February 15, this year. The legal limit on that stretch is 50mph.
The 47-year-old, of Ceiriog Way in St Martins, was proved guilty via the single justice procedure at Worcestershire Magistrates' Court on September 16, this year.
Although details of his actual speed were not given by the court, magistrates sitting at Telford on Wednesday, November 9 said his six-month disqualification was obligatory due to repeat offending.
They also fined him £60 and ordered he pay £85 court costs and £34 to the victim services fund, making a total of £179.
