A MAJOR road outside Oswestry will be closed overnight over two days from Monday for essential maintenance.
The A5 between the Gledrid and Halton roundabouts, connecting Oswestry and Chirk, up to Wrexham, will shut at 8pm on Monday, November 7, reopening at 6am on Tuesday, November 8.
It will close again for the same time on Tuesday into Wednesday.
Traffic Mid and North Wales has clarified the closures will be overnight only on Monday and Tuesday.
A local diversion through Chirk will be in place for the duration of the roadworks.

A highways spokesman said: "The A5 will be closed in both directions between Halton and Gledrid for essential maintenance."
