MOTORISTS in Oswestry are being warned to expect disruption in the coming weeks after roadworks were announced for the A5 and the A483.
Work is expected at the A5, from 8pm on Monday, October 31 to 6am on Thursday, November 3 with slight delays of around or under 10 minutes) on both the eastbound and westbound, Queens Head junction to the Maesbury junction.
Highways has confirmed there will be traffic signals for drainage investigation works.
Meanwhile, also on the A5 towards the Gledrid roundabout up to Chirk from 8pm on Monday, November 7 to 6am on Tuesday, November 8, the carriageway will be closed for grass cutting.
A spokesman said: "National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
