A NEW Netflix movie was shot at the shores of Lake Vyrnwy and is now coming to the cinemas for a limited run this November.

'Lady Chatterley's Lover' is a literary classic, and will now be available in a new adaptation for a small amount of time in cinemas from November 25,and a week later having its launch on Netflix, on Friday December 2.

The filming location was noticed by drivers, cyclists and pedestrians last year, after they were warned of road closures in late September 2021.

The movie is starring Emma Corrin – who portrayed Princess Diana in the most recent series of The Crown, playing one of the main protagonists, joined by Jack O'Connell, who described the adaptation as a 'female-focussed' retelling of the controversial story.

The novel, which also happens to be the last from author D.H. Lawrence, focuses on Lady Chatterley, former Constance Reid, which battles with her own individual regeneration, which can only stem from the relationship between a man and a woman.

She dives deep into different types of relationships, which conclude with life-long lessons, different views of classes in the 20 Century, industrialisation and nature.
