CHIRK enjoyed a four a point haul from the weekend as the Colliers climbed the JD Cymru North table.
The Colliers drew at Penrhyncoch on Saturday with the Roosters leading midway through the first-half with Taylor Watts breaking the deadlock.
Chirk spurned a chance to level on the hour with Jack Orbell missing a penalty but the Colliers drew level three minutes later with Louie Middlehurst on target.
Steffan Gittins saw red soon after before the home side dug in to ensure a point.
Meanwhile a late penalty from Ed Baker earned Chirk AAA a 2-1 win at home to fellow new boys Porthmadog.
Nathan Williams fired Porthmadog ahead on the stroke of half-time with the Colliers hitting back on the hour with Rhys Edwards on target before Baker's injury time penalty earned Chirk the spoils.

Meanwhile Ollie Woods starred with two goals as Builth Wells stormed to a 4-1 win at Llanrhaeadr on Saturday.
All the goals came in the second-half after Woods fired the Bulls into a two goal lead before Lyndon Jones added a third with 10 minutes remaining to ensure no way back for the hosts.

Ryan Powell saw red for the Bulls before Dale Evans reduced the arrears with a penalty for the hosts but Will Cleaton’s injury time strike ensured Builth the spoils.

Elsewhere honours ended even at Foxen Manor on Friday night as Four Crosses and Forden United shared the MMP Central Wales North League spoils in a 2-2 draw.
Jake O’Donnell twice gave Forden the lead with the home side replying through Max Thomas and a penalty from Thomas Evans.

Meanwhile Llansantffraid celebrated a 2-0 derby victory at home to 10 man Meifod on Saturday.
Dan Graham and Marc Griffiths goals gave the home side the spoils with Jacob Davies dismissed for the Kings
