A WOMAN from Oswestry who went missing last Friday, sparking a police search, has now been found.

West Mercia Police made an appeal last Friday, August 19, about the whereabouts of Ceri Lowe, and said she may have travelled to Belfast in Northern Ireland.

West Mercia Police have now confirmed that Ceri has been located.

In a tweet the police said: "A 39-year-old woman from Oswestry reported missing last Friday (19 August) has now been found safe and well.

"Officers would like to thank the public for their help."
