CHIRK AAA forward Jordan MacCarter suffered a compound fracture as the Colliers tasted a 2-0 defeat at Llanidloes Town in the JD Cymru North on Friday night.
The match was marred by a serious injury to Chirk forward Jordan MacCarter after 18 minutes which caused a lengthy delay before the action resumed with the Daffodils eventually sealing the points courtesy of George Clarke's 73rd minute strike before Elliot Jones settled the outcome late on.
A Chirk AAA spokesman praised the actions of two of their fans who happened to be two off duty paramedics and Llanidloes Town officials who assisted in conveying the injured player to hospital.

"Two off duty paramedics, who are relatives of Chirk players, stepped in to help and performed admirably giving the relevant care and attention to Jordan. The club can't thank them enough. Also big shout out to Llanidloes officials and helpers who also assisted.
"The score irrelevant in these circumstances but Llanidloes deserved the win after Chirk had some early chances.
"Everyone at Chirk AAA FC send their best wishes to Jordan for a speedy recovery."
