PARENTS looking for the chance to allow their children to blow off some steam can head to Llanymynech next week, courtesy of Shropshire Wildlife Trust.
The Trust's Oswestry branch is throwing a 'Wild Child fiesta' at the Llanymynech heritage area in North Road on Saturday, August 20 from 2pm until 5pm.
A spokesman for the Oswestry branch said they have put on the event to given children a day of their wildest imagination.
They said: "It is a chance for children and their families to let their imaginations run wild and have fun.
"We'll be making bows and arrows and flying them, weaving dream-catchers and looking for grasshoppers, beetles and other tiny creatures in the grass.
"Jake Evans, professional storyteller, will tell three stories over the afternoon.
"All children must be accompanied by an adult."
To book a spot for the Wild Child Fiesta, email oswestry@shropshirewildlifetrust.org and prices are £2 per child.
