ONE person was treated and then discharged at the scene of a two-vehicle crash in between Oswestry and Chirk on Sunday.
Paramedics from West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS) were asked to treat a patient by their Welsh counterparts after a BMW car collided with a lorry on the B5070 Chirk Road shortly before 4pm.
A spokesman for WMAS said they treated the driver of the car – a man – at the scene but that he was able to get himself home.
They added: "We were passed the call from the Welsh Ambulance Service at 3.55pm yesterday to reports of a two-vehicle road traffic collision involving a car and a lorry in Chirk Road, Gledrid.
"One ambulance attended and assessed one patient, the driver of the car, who had sustained minor injuries. The man was discharged on scene."
The road was closed for around 90 minutes, close to the A483.
