A KITCHEN fire that was out on arrival led to two Shropshire fire crews being called out on Sunday afternoon.
One crew each from Oswestry and Ellesmere was sent to a property in Wilmot Drive at 1pm on Sunday after reports of an electric oven fire.
Firefighters used small gear and a thermal imaging camera to ensure the fire was completely out on arrival.
A Shropshire Fire and rescue Service spokesman said: "A fire involving an electric oven in the kitchen of a residential property, found to be out upon the arrival of the Fire Service.
"Inspection only, thermal imaging camera and small tools in use."
A stop message was sent to control by those on scene at 1.25pm.
