WITH just days to go, Whittington and Oswestry Young Farmers’ Club is gearing up for the return of Oswestry Show.
The club is hosting various competitions at the showground on Saturday, August 6, under the theme of the Platinum Jubilee, as well as having various actives planned throughout the day.
These include children’s competitions and open competitions, with prize money up for grabs.
Club secretary, Joe Thomas, said: “The show tent and the competitions have been kindly sponsored by local business including Tudor Griffiths Group, AR Marketing & Design Co and The White Lion Pub, Whittington.
“We are also running a charity fundraiser on the day in the form of guess the number of balloons in the tractor in aid of the DPJ Foundation. With a £100 Wagyu Beef Box kindly donated by Warrendale Wagyu up for grabs.”
