The New Saints Football Club have relieved first team head coach Anthony Limbrick of his duties with immediate effect.
The Saints have endured a miserable European campaign, first being dumped out of the UEFA Champions League by Linfield at the first hurdle before crashing out of the UEFA Conference to Vikingur on Tuesday night.
The club and ex-Grimsby Town manager have now confirmed a mutually agreed termination of his contract.
A spokesman said: "The club would like to thank Anthony for the work he carried out at the club and will be making no further comment on the decision at this time."
Limbrick was appointed manager of The New Saints following the dismissal of Scott Ruscoe in April April 2021.
In the inaugural season of the UEFA Europa Conference League, Limbrick's side cruised through qualifying rounds, beating Glentoran and FK Kauno Žalgiris before losing to Viktoria Plzeň,
The New Saints dominated the 2021–22 Cymru Premier, winning the league and cup double.
