AN OPEN fire in Ellesmere was extinguished by firefighters on Monday morning.
One crew from Ellesmere was sent to the fire, involving rubbish, shortly after 8.45am, at Greenhill Bank.
The fire crew used a hosereel jet to put out the blaze, with a stop message sent to control at around 9.05pm.
