A CHIP pan fire on Sunday led to fire crews from Oswestry and Ellesmere being called out on Saturday evening.
One crew from each station was called to Oak Drive, in Oswestry, after reports of the kitchen fire around 7.05pm, but firefighters arrived to find the blaze out.
They used small gear and a thermal imaging camera to check the fire was out.
A spokesman said: "This incident involved a chip pan fire which was extinguished by the occupier prior to the arrival of fire service personnel.
"Thermal imaging camera and small gear were used to complete an inspection of the property."
A stop message was sent to control around 15 minutes later.
