THE INQUEST into the death of a retired managing director in an Oswestry hotel room has been adjourned by a coroner.
William Bryn Williams was originally from Ruabon and was found in a hotel in Shrewsbury Road in Oswestry on Thursday, July 14 2022.
The inquest was opened and adjourned at Shirehall in Shrewsbury by the chief coroner for Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin, John Ellery.
Mr Ellery said: "On July, 14 police were called to the Travelodge in Shrewsbury Road following reports of an unresponsive male.
"It was clear the male was deceased. Police said there were no suspicious circumstances."
Mr Williams was identified by photo identification.
Mr Ellery adjourned the inquest to Thursday, October 27.
