CHIRK Leisure and Activity Centre will be holding an open day this coming Saturday.

The centre, in Chapel Lane, will be open to all on Saturday, July 23, with sessions available through the centre for free, as well as pool sessions, and 3G football bookings for just £10 an hour.

David Watkin, centre manager at Chirk, urged people wishing to learn what it offers to head there for the open day.

He said: "On Saturday, we will open our doors for the open day which promises to be fun for all the family.

"With free fitness classes and gym access throughout the day and highly discounted 3G football bookings at just £10 an hour.

"If you don’t mind getting wet then there will be a free family swim session and a pool inflatable aqua fun run session – can you race to the finish?

"We’re really looking forward to opening our doors to the community and showcasing our fantastic facilities.

"Whether you enjoy swimming, taking part in fitness classes or playing football we have something for the whole family to enjoy.

"As well as this, Chirk Leisure Centre will have an Open Day membership promotion available exclusively on the day."
