Patients across north Shropshire have given their verdicts on their GP practices – and these are the results.
In a survey conducted by the NHS, patients have been able to give their views on how they think the surgeries in their areas are doing.
The study looked at phone call consultations, receptionists behaviour, website access, appointment times and other criteria.
North Shropshire patients have given their practices an average of 81.5 per cent satisfaction rate, when asked about their overall experience at their local GP.
Knockin Medical Centre in Oswestry received the highest average score, with a total 96 per cent saying they had a good experience with all the services at their doctor's.
The lowest score was received by Wem and Prees Medical Practice with 62 per cent of surveyors giving a satisfactory answer.
Overall, across all the surgeries there is a general consensus that the online services are something that people don't particularly enjoy using across North Shropshire.
On the other hand, the practices have a really good phone communication system that people do not mind using.
The practices in North Shropshire that were reviewed included:
- Knockin Medical Centre (Oswestry)- 96 per cent satisfactory rate
- The Caxton Surgery (Oswestry)- 91 per cent satisfactory rate
- Plas Fflynnon Medical Surgery (Oswestry)- 89 per cent satisfactory rate
- Cambrian Medical Practice (Oswestry)- 82 per cent satisfactory rate
- Churchmere Medical Group (Ellesmere)- 69 per cent satisfactory rate
- Wem and Prees Medical Practice (Wem)- 63 per cent satisfactory rate
