AT WHAT point does the responsibility for dealing with a cost of living crisis move from the Government to the retailers.
I am referring to the massive difference between prices at petrol stations.
How on earth can one garage charge up to 20p more their product than another? Do they not all pay the same for the product as it is pumped into their tanks?
The ever-increasing price of petrol and diesel is frankly disgusting but I am seeing garages putting their price up on an almost daily basis.
Fuel isn’t a luxury, it’s something that people need to get to work, or for those of us who are retired, to perform important tasks we can’t otherwise achieve with the level of public transport we have.
We need help, and surely the retailers should be recognising that.
