OSWESTRY town market is hosting a family friendly event in the name of the Queen's Jubilee, on Friday, June 3.
Marking the Queen's 70th anniversary of her Majesty's accession to the throne, the people of Oswestry and surrounding areas are welcome to the event to celebrate Accession Day between 10am and 2.30pm, at the Bailey Head.
There will be children's rides, morris dancers, live music, stalls, free face painting, an owl display, alpacas, and more.
The day will culminate with the Kid's Best Dressed Competition, that children will be able to enter and will be judged on the day at 2pm.
David Clough, organiser of the event, said: “We are going to set the outdoor tables in a long line in the front of the Bailey Head, decorated with Jubilee themed ornaments.
“With all the food vendors that we have, people will be able to sit down and enjoy a party-like atmosphere with a little bit of light music.
“For the Kids Best Dressed Competition, everyone will win, either a chocolate or some sort of sweet."
