A TEENAGER has been given a drugs warning by police on patrol near Oswestry.
Oswestry Safer Neighbourhoods Team (SNT) said suspicious circumstances after encountering three youths while on patrol at Oswestry Rugby Club in Park Hall on Sunday evening led to a search under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
They took to social media on Sunday evening to confirm the 16-year-old was given a cannabis warning.

Officers also confirmed they had taken a BMW off the roads after it was pulled over by patrol officers supporting the SNT in Gobowen on Saturday.
The vehicle had no tax.
