THE sun shone for Pant WI when they visited Trentham Gardens recently.
Their first coach outing for three years was deemed “a success”, “an enjoyable experience” and “well worth it” by those who went and was unanimously agreed to be “fun” (which is what the WI should be according to the SFWI county chairman.
There was plenty to satisfy everyone; retail therapy worked its wonders (even wedding outfit accessories were purchased), the numerous parts of the parkland and gardens were enjoyed, and food and drink consumed with pleasure in the sunshine.

A tasty meal on the way home completed a delightful day – what more could be wanted?
A spokesman said: "Next month our meeting will be held on Thursday, June 2 at 7.15p.m. in Pant Memorial Institute when Mark Hignett (who runs Oswestry Museum) will give a talk about Pant and the area around it.
