ELLESMERE Town Council has confirmed its places for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations with the announcement of the Community Picnic.
The picnic will be held on Saturday, June 4 from 2pm until 10.15pm, at the Cremorne Gardens, with a fireworks finale promised.
A spokesman for the town council said: "We are delighted to officially announce the Queen's Platinum Jubilee Community Picnic, which will be happening on Saturday, June 4 in the Cremorne Gardens from 2pm until 10.15pm ending with a Firework Finale.
"Bring the family along for a fabulous fun-filled day."
There will be a licensed bar and refreshments available, but attendees are also encouraged to bring their own.

There will be a performance of line dancers which will be followed by a line dance with Sandra, where people will be encouraged to have a go.
Other activities include a tug of war competition and family sports such as welly wanging, egg and spoon races and much more with the Ellesmere Carnival Committee.
There is an encouraged dress theme of red, white and blue with a best dressed competition as well as Fizzgigs running a crown making crafting session leading to a competition plus more.
There will be a skittle alley and music courtesy of a number of live bands.
Admission is free.
