OSWESTRY and Borders Flower Club's latest meeting in April was headline by an in-house members' demonstration evening in April, which was very well received.
Thanks were given to all the committee members who each gave an excellent interpretation of the title 'Anything Goes', and after the success of the evening the club is hoping to repeat the event in the future and would encourage members to step forward and present a design.
The next meeting is at Morda Village Hall, at 7.30pm on Tuesday, May17 with Alison Cooper from Salford.
A spokesman said: "Alison is giving a workshop called 'Grasses in The Wind', which is part lottery funded, for those who are not taking part in the workshop you will find this an interesting & informative evening.
"The demonstration hostess, vote of thanks and welcome flowers will be Eleanor Davies, with a sales table.
"Once again we thank all those who make a valuable contribution by donating and helping with the sales table which contributes towards the cost of running our club.

"At Oswestry and Borders Flower Club we welcome visitors and new members all year through, please come along and enjoy an evening of flowers, learn something new and meet new people."
