A FIRE involving 30 tonnes of sawdust broke out at an Oswestry business on Thursday (March 31) afternoon.
Five crews – including a water carrier unit – were sent by Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service to the barn fire at Shropshire Biomass Fuels in Middleton, on the outskirts of the town.
The blaze broke out at around 2pm.

Crews from Oswestry, Ellesmere and Shrewsbury used breathing apparatus, hosereel jets and a thermal imaging camera.
A spokesperson said: "This incident involved 30 tonne of sawdust within a compound at the location.
"Extinguished by fire service personnel using two hosereel jets, two breathing apparatus and thermal imaging camera also used."
The stop call to say no more personnel would be required came in shortly before 4pm.
