FIREFIGHTERS were called after people were trapped following an road traffic collision in Ellesmere.
North Shropshire Police confirmed the incident on the B5068 Elson Road shortly before 3.30pm had closed the road.

Oswestry and Whitchurch police were in attendance, along with fire crews from Ellesmere and paramedics.
A spokesperson for Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service confirmed they had been called shortly before 3pm and four appliances from Ellesmere, Baschurch and Wellington had attended, including rescue tender.
They later added: "This incident was an RTC involving two vehicles.
"Two casualties were released from one of the vehicles and left in the care of the ambulance service.

"Two further casualties self extricated from the other vehicle and were also left in the care of the ambulance service."
Police asked motorists to find an alternative route while the road is closed.
