But they have been warned that CCTV has now been installed.

Police said via the OsCops Twitter page: "Youths are gaining access onto private land where a resident stores cars and are causing damage to them. These are not scrap vehicles, but part of a business and someone's livelihood.

"Keep out – CCTV has been installed."

The second post via their Twitter page related to the Castle Keep development on the outskirts of the village.

Police added: "Youths are regularly gaining access to the site. There's a reason it's fenced off: it's private ground and not open to the public, also there are associated hazards on site; scaffolding is not a play area for irresponsible youths."
