A PERSON needed medical treatment after a house fire broke out in Oswestry on Sunday afternoon.
The incident happened in Ascot Road at around 3.15pm.
Firefighters from the town were in attendance along with crews from Ellesmere and Shrewsbury.
A spokesperson for Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Fire involving burnt items on cooker.
"Casualty left in care of ambulance."

It follows a busy weekend for local firefighting crews after a garden fire was sparked by embers from a domestic incinerator in Chaucer Road in Oswestry on Sunday morning shortly before 11am. One from from the town attended and used a hosereel jet to put out the blaze.
And crews from Ellesmere, Baschurch and Wem were called to Brown Heath near Ellesmere after a fire broke out on Saturday at around 4pm and destroyed two wooden structures.
Meanwhile, in the early hours of Saturday morning a fire broke out at the United Utilities site off Broomhall Lane in Oswestry. Two crews from the town attended.
A spokesperson said: "Fire involving one pallet and bundle of plastic bags in the open.
"One hose reel jet used to extinguish fire and thermal imaging camera used to check for any other hot spots."
