A ST Martins business has again provided financial support to Hope House and Tŷ Gobaith Children’s Hospices by donating £5,000 to support its services in 2022.
Plant hire firm Ridgway Rentals made their first corporate donation in 2020 to support the hospices throughout the pandemic.
Their latest donation will help ensure that the charity can continue supporting seriously ill children and their families who use the hospices for respite and end of life care this year.
Stuart Jones, managing director said: “Here at Ridgway, we believe giving to charity is very important.
"Not every business is fortunate enough to be able to donate and use their platform to raise awareness for local charities, we take pride knowing we can contribute and make a difference to the lives of the children and families who use their services.”

The donation from Ridgeway Rentals has meant they will continue to be a Hope House Business Champion, progressing from their bronze award to silver, committing their support for another year.
The charity which has two hospices – Hope House in Oswestry, Shropshire, and Tŷ Gobaith in Conwy, North Wales provide specialist nursing care and support to more than 750 children from birth up to 25 years, and their families, who live in Shropshire, Cheshire, North and Mid Wales.
Every year Business Champions will have the opportunity to make a donation towards a specific need for the charity, knowing that every pound they donate will go towards making sure the hospices can continue to support those that need them the most.
Bekki Fardoe, area fundraiser said: “Support from local businesses is hugely important to us and we are extremely grateful to Ridgway Rentals for their significant donation again this year.
“We are hoping to raise £50,000 through our Business Champion initiative this year which will fund six months of play activities for both our hospices. Play is a vital part of a child’s development and we create bespoke activities to ensure every child can benefit from this.”
