ONE of the country's most beloved children's authors will be visiting Oswestry next week to sign copies of her latest book.
Julia Donaldson, known for her popular rhyming children’s books such as ‘The Gruffalo’, ‘Room on the Broom’ and ‘Stick Man’, is making an appearance at Booka Bookshop.
The independent bookshop and café will be hosting the award winning author to celebrate the publication of her latest books.

Mrs Donaldson will be singing copies of her books on Wednesday, March 16.
There will be four signing sessions, at 3pm, 3.40 pm, 4.30 pm and 5.10 pm.
Donaldson is one of the best-selling children's authors in the country, with one of her stories selling on average every 11 seconds.
In 2014 it was reported that 40p of every pound spent on children’s picture books went to a Donaldson title.”
Starting with The Gruffalo, an animated television special based on a Julia Donaaldson book has been part of every BBC Christmas day schedule since 2009.
Attendees will need to buy a ticket to one of the signing sessions, with each ticket covering up to five family members.
There are a maximum of 20 tickets on offer for each signing session.
There are three ‘with book’ ticket options: Moles Spectacle family ticket for £6.99, The Wolly Bear Caterpillar family ticket for £7.99, and a combination of the two for £14.
Additional copies of other books are available to pre-order to be signed and paid for on the day.
Attendees are asked to email or telephone the bookshop with the titles of the books they would like signed.
Only books bought on the day can be signed.
