COMEDY fans are being urged to mark their diaries as a popular strand-up and actor with credits such as Phoenix Nights heads to a venue outside Oswestry.
Archie Kelly will be the headline act at the Llanyblodwel and Porthywaen Institute on Friday, April 29 for an evening of adult comedy.
Rising to fame as Kenny Dalglish Senior, a notorious liar and part of Brian Potter's gang in the hit Peter Kay-written comedy, Kelly is a popular member of the northern comedy circuit.
He was last seen in Sky's Brassic and will be coming to the Institute next month.
He will be joined by four more acts – Stephen 'Doddy' Dodd, Kevin Caswell-Jones, Fat Theo and north Shropshire act Donald Mackerel for the night which is being put on by Kung Fu Pug Comedy.
Doors open from 7pm and the show starts at 8pm – tickets are £10.
