MORE than 5600 new cases of Covid and 12 deaths due to the virus have sadly been recorded in Wales today.
Public Health Wales (PHW) have shared the latest figures for September 27 for Wales, covering a two day period, with 5659 people having tested positive for Covid.
PHW have also shared that sadly 12 people have died due to the virus.
Here in North Wales, there were 933 new cases recorded.
These can be broken down to:
Gwynedd 210
Flintshire 187
Conwy 169
Wrexham 140
Denbighshire 135
Anglesey 92
The seven-day infection rate in Wales as a whole is now 633.2 cases per 100,000 people.
In North Wales, the county with the highest rate of infection is Conwy with 674.0 cases per 100,000.
