THE road leading up to a Mid Wales tourist attraction is set to face five days of closures.
Waterfall Street will be closed from 9.30am until 3.30pm from Monday, September 20 to Friday, September 24.
The temporary closure has been approved to allow work to be undertaken by Openreach.
A statement on Powys County Council’s Highways Twitter page said: “The C2219 Waterfall Street and Commins, Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant, Oswestry will be in place on the September 20 to September 24 between 9:30am and 3:30pm on behalf of Openreach, while they do works to safe access underground and overhead structures to provide fibre optic cable.”
Access will be maintained for residents living along the road, and access will remain for emergency services vehicles.
An alternative route will be signposted.
