Sport clubs and individuals in Oswestry have less than a week to apply for grants made available by a local sports group.
The closing date for the next round of grants from Oswestry Sports Forum is Monday, January 11.
Grants are awarded to support sport and physical recreation in the Oswestry area.
Applications are invited from clubs and individuals who live or train within 10 miles of Oswestry.
Oswestry Sports Forum awards grants three times per year. In the last round in October, grants were awarded to two Ellesmere Titan swimmers, Lauren Weatherell and Amelia Rodd.
Frankton Cricket Club also received a contribution towards a defibrillator.
A grant was also made to contribute to the cost of maintenance of Shropshire Paddlesport’s septic tank and towards the purchase of outdoor gym equipment for Chirk Bank Playing Field.
