The sub postmistress at Dudleston Heath Post Office, in Criftins Parish Hall, has thanked and praised an Oswestry firm for providing it with cheap hand sanitiser.
Lynn Johnson, from Dudleston Heath, admitted she was delighted that Oswestry's Henstone Distillery were able to provide four 500ml bottles of their newly-produced sanitisers for the same price people on eBay were selling much smaller bottles.
She said Henstone set a good example of helping out smaller businesses in the area.
"We have to offer hand sanitiser to customers and our staff too while we're open," said Lynn.
"We managed to get some from Henstone for a low price and they're doing all the Post Offices in the area too.
"It's an example of how a big business is looking after a smaller one – I think I've paid the same for four 500 ml ones as someone on eBay was asking for a 100ml bottle."
