A MAN was taken to hospital after emergency services were called to a crash at the A5 Shotatton Crossroads on Thursday morning.
The incident happened at around 7.30am on the busy route between Oswestry and Shrewsbury.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) was called at 7.30am, with officers from Oswestry Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) in attendance.
The multi-vehicle collision saw on person taken to hospital.
A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 7:24am to reports of a multi vehicle collision at the Shottaton Crossroads at the A5 in Shrewsbury.
"We sent two ambulances to the scene. Upon arrival we treated one patient, a man, for minor injuries.
"He was taken to Royal Shrewsbury Hospital for further treatment.”
