IT IS a real trip back in time in this week’s edition of Bygones, as we take a look at some reader-supplied pictures of the past.
The six pictures on this page are all courtesy of Ed and Lou Critchell and certainly tell an interesting tale of Oswestry’s past.
We have three pictures from the 1930s of Oswestry Boys Club, with various trophies won during the period.
There is also a classic snapshot of life at Gobowen Orthopaedic Hospital, year unknown.
And I hope you like sepia with your darts, because the two photos along the bottom, showing some very successful prize winners has a healthy seventies colour palette.
