FRIENDS of the Orthopaedic Hospital are getting ready to kick-start the festive season.
The League of Friends to the RJAH will be hosting a fabulous festive bazaar at the hospital on Thursday, December 5, to really get Christmas started.
More than 30 Christmas stalls of goodies, games and gifts will be available, along with entertainment from local school choirs, the Ladies Orthopaedic Choir and festive bell ringers.
Victoria Sugden, League of Friends charity director said the team were excited for the event to take place.
"This is the second year of the Christmas Bazaar and we’re very excited to be able to bring some festive cheer whilst raising vital funds to support the hospital and its important work," she added.
"As usual this event has truly been a team effort with many hospital departments helping out particularly the wonderful Estates and Facilities team."
And Mark Brandreth, chief executive, added: ‘We are delighted that the league will be bringing together the hospital community and indeed the wider community to support our hospital, it promises to be a magical event."
The friends decorate the hospital every year, with window freezes, decorations and a Christmas tree – with this years’ theme being white winter wonderland.
Younger visitors will be able to enjoy a visit to Santa provided by Cambrian Rotary Club and festive food will be available throughout the day in the hospital's restaurant.
The programme of events starts at 10 am, with plenty of time for shopping and fun until 4pm.
There is no cost to enter.
